Global University Summit 2011
The PRES Bourgogne Franche-Comté was chosen to host this 4th edition of the Global University Summit that gathers university presidents and students from around the world to prepare recommendations submitted to heads of State and governments at the G20 meeting. On the strength of my work on the Idex project, the President of the University of Burgundy called on me to write the four speeches she would give during the summit and coach her on their delivery. Also, I adapted the FCS-BFC’s brochure-the first bilingual document presenting the Foundation-and the opening statement for the GUS handbook. Security issues forced the summit to be moved from Dijon to Paris at the last minute. I revised the speeches overnight to explain this change and to suit the new venue.
